  Staying nearby, so we dropped in to pick up some meat because, when you're near a bbq place, you have to at least try it.
  
  Really glad that we did because it was delicious. The brisket would be right at home in the upper echelon of Austin bbq, and the prices are more akin to what bbq cost 10 years ago. The pork ribs are also masterfully smoked.
  
  If I had to be critical of anything, the sausage was just sausage, nothing special, and the bbq sauce was overly sticky sweet, more like the hfcs off the shelf type. It's fortunate that the meat needed no sauce.
  
  This may not be a destination bbq restaurant, but it's worth a stop if you're in Kingsland.

  We eat here all the time, husband says best bbq in this area, I agree. Great staff too!
